RESILIENCE BUILDING

DANCE, LEARN, CREATE

BREAKDANCE WITH A DIFFERENCE

Over a 4 week program, students develop Teamwork, Gratitude, Empathy, Respect and Leadership through hands on activities and discussions. Students learn how these vital life skills can be transferred from the classroom to the yard, and by including them into everyday life, they understand the benefits to their overall mental health and wellbeing. Teachers are provided with Assessment and Reporting resources to consolidate learning.

Over a 4 week program, participants will develop their Teamwork, Gratitude, Empathy and Respect through the art of dance. Students will learn choreography, participate in group activities and practise performing in front of an audience. Teachers have Assessment and Reporting opportunities for Health & Physical Education and/or Personal & Social Capabilities. 

An alternative to our dance program is our 'Breakdance With a Difference' program, run by a Professional Breakdancer. Students will participate in fun activities and learn basic breakdance moves to form a short routine. Students will focus on developing their school values and recognising them in themselves and their peers. Assessment and Reporting opportunities for Health & Physical Education and/or Personal & Social Capabilities. 

WORKSHOPS

All of our school programs can delivered as one day workshops. Content is condensed to fit the needs of the school, whilst teachers still have an opportunity for assessment. A workshop can be a great way to include team building and fun into your program, whilst ensuring students are learning new skills.

ALTERNATIVE SPORTS PROGRAM

Our Alternative Sports Program can be delivered to non-Interschool Sport students on your school premises. We can run our program for the duration of your season or for as many weeks as you require. Students will participate in activities designed for maximum participation and skill development.

STAFF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

The Blueprint Initiative can deliver engaging Professional Development sessions for staff based on, but not limited to:

  • Mental Health & Performance Development

  • Classroom Management Strategies

  • Developing Accountability 

  • Teaching Resilience
